The facility is actively investing in its harvest operations, with new equipment and a consolidation project currently underway.
This is physical, skilled work in a fast-moving environment. Pay reflects the demands of the role and tops out at $30/hour for experienced candidates who can hit the ground running.
What the Job Involves:

- Maintain knife sharpness and keep harvest floor equipment in proper working condition throughout the shift
- Keep workstations, walls, equipment, and the harvest floor clean and sanitized at all times
- Follow all HACCP protocols and food safety requirements without exception
- Support barn duties including weighing, feeding, and watering livestock as skills develop
- Assist with general sanitation and end-of-shift cleanup procedures
What They Need:
- 1+ years of harvest floor, slaughter, or meat processing experience preferred
- Motivated candidates without direct harvest experience will be considered if they demonstrate a genuine willingness to learn
- Physically capable of sustained standing, heavy lifting, and working in hot, cold, and damp conditions throughout a full shift
- Knife skills or a clear interest in developing them on the job
- Agricultural or livestock handling background is a plus
- Familiarity with beef primal and subprimal cuts is a plus
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a close-knit production team
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
