Harvest Floor Operator – Multi-Species Processing

1st Shift | Monday–Friday

A meat processing facility in central Ohio needs a new team member for its harvest floor. They handle various types of meat and have ongoing projects to upgrade their operations. Join a dedicated group working to meet high standards in processing.

This role involves physical work in a fast-paced environment. Salary is competitive and can reach $30/hour for experienced individuals.

• Complete various steps in the harvesting process such as stunning, skinning, and trimming
• Ensure animals are handled with care and in line with animal welfare regulations
• Prepare carcasses to meet quality standards and regulations
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean during the shift
• Follow safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
• Assist with overall barn tasks as needed
• Participate in sanitation procedures and cleanup duties

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic applicants
• Ability to handle physical demands and varied working conditions
• Interest in improving knife skills on the job
• Background in agriculture or livestock is a bonus
• Familiarity with different meat cuts is advantageous
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
