Currently, we have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator position on 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Training to take place on 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Essential Job Functions:

Understands and performs the loading of coils on coil carts and surrounding area Understands the movements of cranes with or without loads

Understands tow motor safety, receiving paperwork, shipping manifest, color coding coils, and raw material tagging

Generates manifests, bar code labels

Accuracy is a must Other Duties as Needed:

Understands the importance of correct packaging: operates bander and shrink wrapper

Completes rework in a timely manner, follows directions, understands paperwork

Safely operates a tow motor

Assists with set-ups Understands customer concerns and the importance of visual inspection at the press

Job Requirements:

Previous overhead crane operator experience required.

Must be able to pass a drug screen initially and thereafter if selected for a random drug screen

Must be at least 18 years of age or older

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others

Basic math skills required

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to work overtime

Requires repetitive, continuous movement

Report to work each day, on time, as scheduled.
