Staff RN - Inpatient Rehab Unit; Mansfield

Job Summary Full-time (36 hours per week) night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). Eligible for weekend and shift differential. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse and acute health care settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

According to department policies and nursing care standards, the RN provides professional nursing care services, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.

• Assessment/Diagnosis – Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning – Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes (30%).
• Implementation/Evaluation – Evaluates and documents response to interventions and revises plan of care based on data (20%).
• Leadership – Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance measures (10%).
• Operations – Performs operational duties (10%).
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or registered nurse license in good standing with a multi‑state compact state.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• BSN required after five years of employment.
