Staff Nurse

Methodist Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. As a Registered Nurse in this fast-paced setting, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions. Drawing on your critical care and emergency experience, you will perform rapid assessments, prioritize patient needs, and deliver evidence-based nursing interventions that support our mission to improve and save lives with compassion and excellence.

In this role, you will conduct timely triage, initiate and manage IV therapy, administer medications safely, monitor cardiac rhythms, assist with procedures, and collaborate closely with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team to stabilize and treat patients of all ages. You will utilize electronic health records to document care accurately, ensure seamless handoffs, and support continuity of care from arrival through discharge or admission.

You will also provide clear communication and education to patients and families, helping them understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care in what is often a highly stressful environment.
