Registered Nurse (RN) - ENT Specialty Care

We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our specialty care ENT team serving patients at both Mansfield Medical Office Building and Ashland Health Center. In this outpatient role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions, supporting them from diagnosis through post-operative recovery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships in a collaborative clinical setting.

In this fast-paced clinic environment, you will work closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to room patients, assist with in-office procedures, and respond to patient inquiries via phone and electronic messaging. You will also support surgical coordination, including scheduling procedures, and contribute to allergy clinic services such as preparing vials and administering injections. With patient volumes ranging from 30–70 per day, this role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented RN with strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care. Experience in ENT or surgical practice is preferred, particularly with post-operative and medically complex patients, though not required. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-volume setting and open to traveling between two locations during the week. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients.

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

Responsibilities And Duties:

  • 30% Assessment/Diagnosis:
    Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.
  • 30% Outcomes Identification/Planning:
    Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
  • 20% Implementation/Evaluation:
    Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data.
  • 10% Leadership:
    Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • 10% Operations:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree (Required)
  • BLS
    - Basic Life Support
    - American Heart Association, RN
    - Registered Nurse
    - Ohio Board of Nursing

Additional
