, you play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role ensuring proper staffing coverage and the availability of essential medical supplies—both critical to resident safety and team success.

• Create, manage, and maintain nursing schedules for STNAs and licensed staff.
• Schedule team members according to census, PPD targets, Atrium guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Review schedules daily to ensure adequate coverage and address gaps.
• Communicate staffing concerns and trends to the Director of Nursing and leadership team.
• Contact staff to fill open shifts and support staffing reliability.
• Monitor schedules for compliance with pay rules, staffing ratios, and CMS requirements.
• Track staffing trends related to vacancies, resignations, and terminations.
• Post schedules and communicate updates clearly and timely.

• Order, receive, store, and distribute medical supplies and equipment.
• Maintain supply rooms in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies based on established par levels.
• Stock nursing units with required medical and personal care supplies.
• Verify incoming orders against invoices and packing slips.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain medical equipment (IV pumps, poles, etc.).
• Report equipment or supply issues promptly to nursing leadership.

• Follow infection control, safety, and universal precaution policies.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Support interdisciplinary teamwork and quality improvement initiatives.
• Attend required meetings, training, and in‑services.

• Active STNA certification required.
• At least one (1) year experience in a hospital or long‑term care setting preferred.
• Experience with nursing scheduling, staffing, payroll, or central supply preferred.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage detailed work.
• Basic computer skills, including scheduling or inventory systems.
• Clear communication skills and a professional, team‑focused attitude.
• Ability to meet physical and regulatory requirements of the role.
