Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical Surgical/Tele units. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support multiple campuses, and adapt to fluctuating census demands.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units following established protocols.
• Float between campuses as needed, maintaining flexibility to support staffing needs.
• Monitor and record medication scanning procedures accurately.
• Respond promptly to on-call requests, arriving at the facility within one hour.
• Ensure compliance with travel, licensure, and facility-specific policies including RTO and travel documentation.
• Document patient interactions and care plans thoroughly in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current, valid state nursing license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent and consecutive experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry in an acute care hospital.
• Demonstrate proficiency in medication scanning and electronic health record systems; epic experience preferred.
• Be willing to float across campuses and travel between sites.
• Be certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Show evidence of strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
