Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

The ER RN provides high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves managing a wide range of acute medical conditions and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document clinical information accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation and maintain certification compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold active RN licensure in any state or a valid compact license.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC and ASLS preferred.
• Have current EPIC charting experience and ability to manage acute patient care efficiently.
• Demonstrate at least 366 days of recent ER or acute care experience.
• Capable of working night shifts, floating across multiple EDs, and adhering to facility policies.
