ER RN – Emergency Department
Shift: Nights, 3x12s; every other weekend and every other holiday required.
Contract Length: 13 weeks.
Minimum 2 years RN experience.
Active state RN or compact license.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
EPIC experience required.
Preferred certifications: TNCC, ASLS.
Clinical skills: ventilator care, arterial/central line management, IV/vasopressors, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation/ECG, triage, procedural sedation monitoring, pediatric ED experience, trauma/ortho/neuro trauma care.
Provide direct patient care in an emergency setting.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
Participate in trauma and emergency procedures as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding health care processes and interventions.
Orientation: 12 hours. Parking details will be provided. RTO policy:
Max 10 days per contract; no RTO during initial weeks.
