Electronic Assembly & Quality Technician (Direct Hire) – Mansfield, OH (Onsite). Direct Hire opportunity with 1st and 3rd shifts. Pay: $22 to $24.50 per hour.
The Professional Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is partnered with a strong and growing company in Mansfield, Ohio, seeking experienced Electronic Assembly & Quality Technicians to join their 1st and 3rd shift teams.
Shifts & Compensation- 1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
- 3rd shift: 9:30 pm – 6:00 am
This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity. You will not go through a temp to hire process. If selected, you are hired directly as the company’s employee from day one.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on work and is comfortable working with small parts in a seated workstation environment. The work can be tedious and repetitive, so strong attention to detail, patience, accuracy, and hand dexterity are very important.
The position is in a clean, climate controlled environment. The company offers strong training with an experienced trainer who helps employees become comfortable and confident in the role.

We are seeking experienced Electronic Assembly & Quality Technicians to help ensure products meet quality, functionality, and performance standards. This role involves soldering, testing, adjustments, inspections, and troubleshooting on units to ensure they meet required specifications. Strong attention to detail, patience with tedious and repetitive small-parts work, and the ability to sit at a workstation while performing precise hands-on tasks are essential.
Candidates must have strong hand dexterity and be comfortable working with small components in a quality-focused environment.
- Perform solder assembly operations according to established procedures
- Test and adjust units to meet in-shop, final test, and FTP specifications
- Read and understand drawings, test specifications, and ATP reports
- Use measurement instruments to check parts for compliance with quality specifications
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of complex units
- Operate mass spectrometers and ESS equipment when required
- Work closely with team members to share workload and support problem solving
- Document quality assurance findings and reports clearly and accurately
- Provide training support to other employees as needed
- Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of soldering experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using quality assurance or measurement equipment, including but not limited to mass spectrometers and ESS equipment
- Ability to effectively read blueprints; blueprint reading will be tested prior to hire
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Strong hand dexterity required
- Must be comfortable working with small parts and performing tedious, repetitive, detail-oriented work
- Ability to sit at a workstation for the majority of the shift while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Assembly background highly desired
- Electrical background highly desired
- Ability to accurately write quality assurance reports and findings
