The Retail Sales Lead Worker coordinates store operations, supporting and training the utility workers and cashiers. The Lead assigns day‑to‑day tasks to Sales Associates and General Utility Workers, ensures all preparations are completed in advance, and maintains a professional and enthusiastic atmosphere in the absence of management. The Lead is expected to provide exemplary customer service, resolve guest situations, and serve as a role model for the team.

Hourly rate: $20.00 to $22.00.

• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties.
• Hold pre‑shift meetings to communicate daily tasks and store requirements.
• Serve as a concierge resource for guests, ensuring all are greeted upon entry.
• Train Sales Associates and General Utility Workers, developing a customer‑service focused team.
• Maintain store cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Track inventory, noting out‑of‑stock items and ordering merchandise as needed.
• Collect daily cash and sales data, prepare nightly close‑out and cash balance reports.
• Assist management with employee scheduling, labor budgeting, and task assignments.
• Support hiring and payroll processes for the department.
• Perform monthly safety inspections and file incident reports.

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong mathematics skills for sales reporting and audits.
• Legal age to work with alcohol and proof of responsible alcohol training.
• Flexible, willing to work a rotational schedule with weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office; ability to use POS, copier, and other equipment.
• Professional grooming and appearance.

May involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment may be required.
