Task Associate

The Task Associate (TA) is responsible for delivering operational excellence in support of sales drivers, ensuring fixtures are stocked, store cleanliness, and completion of assigned tasks. The TA supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager across performance, people, and process objectives.

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard, including timely completion of operational processes such as shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventories.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training to enable continuous professional development and drive sales performance.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing shipments using technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced; ensure testers are available.
• Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness (salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, break area).
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.

• Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system, Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem‑solving skills.

• Work a flexible schedule, including early morning, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.

The pay range for this position is $12.50 - $16.50 per hour, with exact pay based on education, qualifications, experience, shift, location, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime pay as required by law. Full‑time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part‑time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
