As a Corporate Accounting Intern at The Gorman-Rupp Company, you will earn valuable experience assisting corporate personnel with analytical, auditing and reporting functions that will help to shape the rest of your career in a friendly, coaching, and developmental atmosphere.
Major Participative Duties and Responsibilities (dependent upon semester):- Quarter-end reports, including SEC filings
- Investor relations documents and analyst reports
- Analysis of public float
- Financial statement reconciliations and analyses
- Internal Audit process walk-throughs and documentation, control testing, and quarter reviews
- Cycle count observations
- Budget, forecasting, and operational analyses
- Special projects
Availability: Spring 2026 Academic Semester
Work Hours: 24 hours per week (3 full days preferred) | Paid hourly
Requirements: Accounting major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher | Proficient with Excel
Preferred Background andSkills:
- Intermediate Accounting I and II completed before the start of internship
- Financial Spreadsheets class completed before the start of internship
- Strong work ethic
