BO LACEY CONSTRUCTION — Sales Manager
Compensation: $100,000 Base Salary + Up to $100,000 in Performance Incentives (Up to $200,000 Total) Tagline:
Lead the Team. Own the Number. Coach in the Field.
We are an established, locally owned exterior contracting company with a rapidly growing bath division. Our ownership team is active daily. You will report directly to President Kevin Lacey, giving you direct access to senior leadership without corporate bureaucracy.
We provide:Strong company-generated lead flows.
An established 10-step in-home sales process built on a one-day-close philosophy.
Heavy corporate investments in marketing, lead generation, recruiting, and training.
Support from an internal corporate sales trainer and outside professional training resources.
An experienced leadership team.
The PositionThis is a hands-on, field-based leadership role for a high-energy manager—not a desk job. You will lead, coach, and grow a residential sales organization of 16–20 professionals. You must learn, demonstrate, and enforce our system. You will earn team credibility by knowing how to run appointments, build value, handle objections, and close kitchen-table deals yourself when necessary.
What You’ll OwnLead the Team:
Know who is performing or struggling and why. Set clear expectations, reward success, and fix performance issues early.
Field Coaching & Ride-Alongs:
Complete regular ride-alongs to observe presentations by new and experienced reps. Provide immediate post-appointment coaching on objection handling and closing to turn average reps into top performers.
Own the Sales Number:
Stay accountable for overall performance. Track and act on metrics: total sales, close rate, leads run, revenue per appointment, average job size, individual performance, segment performance, cancellations, financing, follow-ups, new-hire ramp-up, and sales certification.
Build Accountability:
Run daily huddles, weekly coaching, individual reviews, scorecards, pipeline reviews, forecasting, ride-along planning, new-hire development, sales certifications, CRM discipline, and performance improvement plans.
Recruit & Develop:
Partner with recruiting and training teams to interview, select, onboard, evaluate, and retain top talent to shorten ramp-up times and build future leaders.
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position. Residential sales happen when homeowners are free.
Operates on a rotating A/B schedule matching the team.
Requires evening availability, regular Saturdays, and occasional Sundays.
Protects a sustainable routine with 2 consecutive days off each week (e.g., Sun/Mon one week, Sat/Sun the next).
Offers daily flexibility; focus is on field presence rather than punching a clock at 8:00 or 9:00 AM.
Who We’re Looking For- Proven experience leading a sales team and coaching salespeople.
- Business-to-customer (B2C) experience (required).
