Foundations For Living is recruiting a PRN Transportation Specialist. No experience necessary - all training is provided. Starting pay: $16.00/hourly.

Foundations For Living is an 84‑bed secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, in a 14 rolling, wooded acres rural setting, Foundations For Living has easy access to I‑71. Licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and CARF accredited. Offers individual, group, and family counseling to residents.
Mission: provide an environment of safety where youth feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future.
The Transportation Specialist provides and ensures secure transportation services for residents as requested or assigned. Other duties include:
- Follows all laws while in a vehicle as established by Law Enforcement.
- Follows all traffic laws while in a vehicle.
- Monitors patients’ physical and emotional well‑being; reports unusual behavior or physical ailments to medical staff.
- Transport residents to and from appointments.
- Provides passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles.
- Keeps all vehicles clean.
- Reports all safety issues with vehicles to supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year experience working in a children’s services program or residential setting is preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology or related field preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Valid State Driver’s License with appropriate Endorsement.
- Must be an authorized driver, meaning you cannot have any of the following:
- If the state record indicates that the driver’s license is currently revoked, suspended or not valid and current.
- Multiple violations for driving without insurance.
- Two at‑fault accidents during the past three (3) years.
- Three (3) moving violations during the last three (3) years.
