Foundations For Living is recruiting a PRN Transportation Specialist. No experience necessary – all training is provided. Starting pay for this position is $16.00 hourly.

Foundations For Living is an 84‑bed secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, our 14‑acre rural setting offers easy access to I‑71. The facility is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and CARF accredited. We offer individual, group, and family counseling to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and ensure secure transportation services for residents as requested or assigned.
  • Follow all laws while in a vehicle established by Law Enforcement; monitor traffic laws.
  • Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well‑being and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to medical staff.
  • Transport residents to and from appointments.
  • Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Keep all vehicles clean.
  • Report all safety issues with vehicles to supervisor.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year experience working in a children’s services program or residential setting is preferred.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology or related field preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Valid State Driver’s License with appropriate endorsement.
  • Must be an authorized driver – the following conditions disqualify a candidate:
    • License currently revoked, suspended, or not valid and current.
    • Multiple violations for driving without insurance.
    • Two at‑fault accidents during the past three (3) years.
    • Three (3) moving violations during the last three (3) years.
