This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Mansfield, TX. The Cost Accountant will handle accounting functions such as cost analysis, budgeting, and tracking manufacturing expenses. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing variance analysis, monitoring cost control systems, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The role also involves collaborating with different departments to support data-driven decision-making and developing strategies to manage costs effectively.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Budgeting
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and spreadsheet tools
- Understanding of Manufacturing Processes and Cost Control Systems
- Attention to detail and excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Effective Communication and Team Collaboration skills
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
- Prior experience in manufacturing or similar industries is highly desirable
