Position Overview
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to support students academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. This role involves assessment, consultation, and collaboration with school staff and families to create positive learning environments.
Responsibilities- Conduct psycho educational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing clear recommendations
- Support the development and implementation of academic and behavioral interventions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Provide counseling and crisis support services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district guidelines
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active or eligible Texas School Psychologist certification/licensure (LSSP)
- School-based experience preferred (internships welcome)
- Ability to work onsite for the full school year
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
