Infra Delivery Install Technicians will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot complex technical scenarios, and implement strategic solutions that keep our network running seamlessly.
Expect to engage in hands‑on technical work that requires creativity, precision, and a passion for technological innovation.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in an environment that operates 24/7, including participation in primary‑responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
- Work in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
- Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel to or commute between data‑center locations as required by business needs (over 50 miles or less than 50 miles).
- Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility is operational.
- Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of the assigned facility.
- Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
- Ensure proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
- Travel within and outside the regional work area; must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license (company transportation is not provided).
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- 2+ years of experience in a data‑center or critical environment in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data‑center operations, or a similar technical role.
- 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience, including VFL, power meter, and OTDR.
- Experience working in a data‑center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering) or equivalent professional or military experience.
- Certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA, A+, CND, or Security+).
- Experience conducting behavioral interviews and hiring.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Location:
USA, TX, Mansfield
Hourly: $30.00 – $54.00 USD
Relocation stipend will be provided to eligible candidates who relocate for this position.
