Position: Medical Assistant
Company: Medi-Weight loss of Mansfield, TX
Schedule: Part Time with shifts on Tuesdays & Thursdays (12pm-7pm), Wednesdays & Fridays (7am-1pm), and 2-3 Saturdays per month (7am-1pm).

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role with primary responsibilities including patient vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, and front office duties. Experience with insurance and VOB is valuable; exercise knowledge is a plus.
Administrative Duties- Operate a multi-line phone system to answer and route incoming calls.
- Conduct follow-up calls to discuss patient progress and address concerns.
- Refer non-routine, sensitive, or complex requests to the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain exceptional patient service by greeting patients and upholding high standards.
- Assist with monitoring daily inventory of clinical and office supplies.
- Perform daily scanning and uploading of documents to patient files.
- Train additional staff on daily procedures when requested by the office manager and/or physician.
- Participate in clinic marketing efforts to promote profitability and success.
- Obtain patient vitals, perform EKG, and conduct phlebotomy.
- Administer IM injections.
- Prepare laboratory order forms and obtain patient laboratory results.
- Assist physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals.
- Document patient progress notes in the chart/EMR.
- Conduct follow-up calls to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Perform other clinical duties as required.
- Medical Assistant certification.
- Front office experience, including insurance and VOB knowledge.
- Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
- Prior experience and training in exercise is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
