AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continuous customer access to innovation.

We work on the most challenging problems with complex supply chain variables, and we’re looking for talented individuals who want to help. You’ll collaborate with software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver high standards for safety, security, and cost‑effective capacity.

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install and patch fiber and copper cabling between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and conduct break‑fix activities.
• Use material handling tools and equipment safely.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area; reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; may assist with group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely without limitation.

Enhance data centers in various operational stages. The role may be assigned to a facility still under development; travel to established locations for training may be required.

Eligibility to travel over 50 miles or commute within 50 miles to active data center sites is required.

Location:

USA, TX, Mansfield – $30.00 - $54.00 USD hourly.

• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• 1+ year of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware.
• 2+ years in data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience (VFL, power meter, OTDR).

• Work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Effective customer problem resolution and ability to work under pressure.
• Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Expertise in cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience in a data center environment (racking, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, AWS certification, CND, Network+, Security+).
• Experience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

The base salary range is $30.00 - $54.00 USD hourly, with sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance options, EAP, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
