OverviewWe are looking for an outstanding individual to lead the maintenance and housekeeping team as a Maintenance Director. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by looking after the place they call home, including both hands‑on work and managing your team. This position ensures that the residence and grounds are well maintained, equipment operates properly and the residence provides a safe and attractive living and working environment.

- Maintain, inspect, and repair the equipment, operating systems, structure, and grounds of the residence, including electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, roof, etc.
- Manage the department budget and expenses, including supply inventory.
- Supervise all maintenance and housekeeping staff—hiring, training, scheduling, and work orders.
- Obtain quotes for third‑party repairs and ensure outside vendors complete projects as requested.
- Use the company maintenance management system to document work orders, preventative maintenance, inspections, warranties, etc.
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance, life‑safety system/equipment inspections, safety committee meetings, and follow‑up based on schedule.
- Fulfill other duties as needed, such as Manager‑On‑Duty on a rotating basis or being available after hours to ensure the proper running of the residence.

- Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC, and repairs/maintenance.
- Previous experience supervising maintenance and housekeeping personnel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
