Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Our client is a leading precision manufacturing company seeking a skilled and safety-focused CNC Maintenance Technician to support production operations at their world-class facility in Mansfield, TX. This role centers on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC mills and lathes
, playing a key role in keeping critical manufacturing equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

• Maintain and repair CNC machinery (mills and lathes) with a focus on uptime, accuracy, and repeatability.
• Rapidly respond to equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and complete audits, inspections, and emergency repairs.
• Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
• Enter and execute G-code using MDI (Manual Data Input) operations.
• Collaborate with vendors for installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Accurately log maintenance activity through a CMMS (Limble experience preferred).
• Assist with overall maintenance and facilities tasks and act as a senior lead during repair operations.

• 4-7 years of experience working with CNC equipment in an industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC ladder logic and motor control theory (AC/DC, 3-phase).
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and axis alignment techniques.
• Ability to operate forklifts, hoists, and aerial lifts.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• 90% of work performed indoors in a climate-controlled facility.
• Exposure to dust and production noise.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
