The Manufacturing Production Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily production operations of their assigned team. They ensure that safety, quality, and production goals are met while leading and coaching a team of operators and technicians. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet production schedules.
• Monitor workflow, resource allocation, and production output to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and mentor production team members to improve performance and morale.
• Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and safety procedures.
• Provide performance feedback and support employee development initiatives.
• Manage employee disciplinary matters in alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct inspections and audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to optimize production flow.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive operational excellence.

Supervises daily:
Production Technicians, CNC Machinists.

• Shift‑based schedule (with weekends and holidays as required).
• Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Professional experience in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or a similar industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of production processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP.
