We develop, manufacture, and supply dental implants, clear aligners, instruments, CAD‑CAM prosthetics, and biomaterials for use in esthetic dentistry, tooth replacement, and restoration solutions.
Salary: $54,080–$60,320 annually (variable by location and experience).
Position Summary: The CNC Machinist will possess expertise in setting up and operating CNC machines, particularly those equipped with Heidenhain and Siemens control systems. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to quality, effective communication skills, and a strong dedication to workplace safety.
Essential Functions and Duties- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency per specified guidelines.
- Use Heidenhain or Siemens control systems.
- Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to quality‑control procedures for precision and consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels, communicating technical information clearly.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for machine setup, documenting and maintaining records of machine settings and adjustments.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during machine setup or operation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prioritize and adhere to safety protocols, report safety concerns, and promote a safe working environment for all.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Observe and respond to warning signs and signals within the company.
- Stand, walk, or sit up to 8 hours per day (with periodic breaks).
- Occasionally push or pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Wear synthetic gloves, protective eye, hearing, and toe protection/safety shoes.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, and office environment.
- Operate machinery with moving parts; may be exposed to dust, water, heat, cured resins, soap, and disinfectants.
- Noise level is consistently moderate.
- Fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
- Technical trade school for CNC technician or 5+ years related experience as a CNC machinist or technician.
- Experience operating and managing CNC‑controlled machining production, including milling, turning, and grinding processes.
- Proficient problem‑solving, change management, and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience with Heidenhain or Siemens control systems.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
- Previous experience in the medical industry is a significant advantage.
