Become a Key Player as an AssemblerYou will help the team deliver high-quality hose and tubing assemblies that meet customer requirements. You will work onsite on 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Mon–Fri), reporting to the Value Stream Team Lead and collaborating closely with maintenance and production teammates. Your work ensures assemblies pass inspection and pressure testing to support on-time shipments and production goals.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team- Operate equipment within the Hose Assembly Value Stream to meet quality and productivity targets
- Pull setup sheets, select tooling, and verify crimp dimensions, drawings, and pressure ratings
- Pull components, inspect tubing/hose, and check all dimensions against drawings or crimp requirements
- Perform pressure testing of hose assemblies and maintain accurate production and test records
- Label finished hose products and complete production reports
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow 5S practices
- Detect and report problem areas or unusual conditions to the Value Stream Team Lead
- Participate in lean initiatives and peer-based teams; perform related duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre‑employment screening
- Willingness to complete on‑the‑job training (1–8 weeks, up to 10 weeks if needed)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to monitor machine sounds and identify changes to take appropriate action
- Strong attention to detail and continuous mental/visual/audio focus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from the Value Stream Team Lead
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling
- Production or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid math, reading, and writing skills
- Sound decision‑making abilities
