Become a Key Player as a Winder Operator

As a Winder Operator, you keep production moving by operating bobbin winders and ensuring finished bobbins meet inventory and quality standards. You will impact output and safety by working closely with the Value Stream Team Lead and maintenance teams. This is an onsite, third-shift role (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday–Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

Set up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications
String wire through winders, adjust counters, and maintain oil levels
Record required data for labeling and place finished bobbins on the wire table
Keep machines operating continuously and report production issues to the direct lead
Pull material from the warehouse and maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area
Follow safety regulations and quality guidelines; report hazards and incidents
Assist the Value Stream Team Lead and perform related duties as assigned

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks (lifting, bending, twisting)
Basic computer skills and ability to record production data
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain attention to detail and monitor machine sounds

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

Prior production experience (preferred but not required)
Experience using hand tools
Strong math, reading, and writing skills
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices

Pay Range

$15.80 - $19.75/hour
