You will operate and maintain braiding equipment to produce high-quality hose products for manufacturing operations. In this temp-to-hire role, you will work primarily onsite on 2nd shift (3:30 PM–11:30 PM), collaborating with production leads and maintenance to meet production goals and quality standards.

• Operate TMW-3dk, TMW-4dk, NEB, OMA and other braiders and monitor product quality
• Set up machines to manufacturing specifications (braid ring height, tube guides, deck/puller gear, bobbins, carriers)
• Pull tooling and materials and track usage in WW3 system and Braider Logs
• Inspect tooling and carriers; perform rebuilds and replace oil barrels as needed
• Measure and record OD and pitch on Hose Process Chart (SPC) and perform pull tests on aerospace hose
• Mark defects and preforms with correct tape color and stage completed hose appropriately
• Maintain a clean work area, follow 5S practices, safety regulations, and report production issues to the lead
• Train entry-level braider operators and perform work of equal or lower classification when required

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate department equipment (NEB, TMW, OMA braiders) and read work orders/manufacturing specs
• Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi tape)
• Continuous attention to detail with sustained visual and auditory focus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and mandatory overtime as needed

• Production experience
• Basic computer skills
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic hand-tool usage and solid decision-making skills

$19.20 - $24.00/hour
