Become a Key Player as a Sr Braider Operator

You will operate and maintain braiding machines to produce components that meet aerospace-quality standards, supporting production and maintenance stakeholders. Your work on the 3rd shift (overnight) directly impacts throughput and product integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an onsite role working nights (11:30 PM–7:30 AM), with mandatory overtime as needed.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Operate TMW-3dk, TMW-4dk, NEB, OMA and other braiders; set up machines per manufacturing specifications
  • Pull tooling and materials and inspect tooling before use; track material usage in WW3 system and Braider Logs
  • Identify and install correct mandrel/core tube, rotate mandrel through job completion, strip and resize as needed
  • Measure and record OD and pitch on Hose Process Chart (SPC) for all deck levels and mark defects with correct tape color
  • Perform carrier inspection and rebuilding, replace oil barrels, and stage completed hose to proper area
  • Perform pull tests on aerospace hose and maintain 5S and safety practices in the work area
  • Report production issues to the Direct Lead and perform work of equal or lower classification as required
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read work orders and interpret manufacturing specifications
  • Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi tape)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain continuous mental, visual, and audio attention; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work nights (3rd shift) and accept flexible hours including short-notice overtime
Here's What Else Might Help You Out
  • Previous production or braider operation experience (preferred)
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
Pay Range

$19.20 - $24.00/hour
