Provides technical support and field coordination to control system projects and service teams Listens takes direction and seeks guidance from the assigned project leads supervisors and company leadership Travel to client locations for installations maintenance or repairs of control systems

Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science in Engineering Technology Computer Information Systems Technology relevant curriculum or experience

Typically 2 years industry experience

2 years as Control System Technician or equivalentAVEVA System Platform andor Operations Management Interface experience strongly preferred

Experience with AVEVA Historian and related AVEVA technologies is a plus

• Technical Responsibilities Assist and be self sufficient in project installation start up and commissioning of control systems
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations
• Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of control systems
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests FATWire instruments and control panels
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Human Machine Interface HMI and Programmable Logic Controller PLC applications
• Proficient with startup and troubleshooting of Human Machine Interface HMI applications
• Proficient with startup and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controller PLC applications
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams
• Practice procedures outlined in the companys Quality Management System QMS
• Accurately document work performed
• Demonstrate basic understanding of control system design
• Demonstrate basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Information Technology IT system network infrastructure and computer system design as it relates to control system integration
• Seek accredited control systems certifications and training opportunities

• Communicate in an effective positive and proactive manner with customers
• Follow customer specific site standards and procedures
• Always conduct business in professional manner
• Provide excellent customer care and support
• Be patient attentive and responsive to customers in solving their problems
• Always follow up and honor commitments with customers

• Complete assigned tasks accurately on schedule and under budget
• Understand the scope of work assigned to you identify when issues arise that are beyond that scope and communicate those issues to the assigned project lead

Travel required 100 overnight travel
