Your Role as a Hose Coil / Pressure Test OperatorIn this position, you will manage pressure testing and hose coiling machinery to guarantee that all output aligns with strict quality benchmarks and production requirements. You will be based on-site during the first shift, running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that mandatory overtime is required to assist maintenance and production leads in maintaining steady output and high standards.
Your contributions are vital to ensuring product reliability for all subsequent inspection and shipping phases.
- Accurately coil hoses while confirming all dimensions, job identifiers, reel sizes, and part numbers.
- Identify potential flaws such as kinks or wire damage to help ensure only high-quality products move forward.
- Manage pressure testing hardware by configuring jaws, mandrels, and cycles, while documenting PSI levels to verify product safety.
- Perform precise measurements of pitch, , and OD, and extract samples for burst testing as needed.
- Organize and label tested inventory for quality review to help maintain efficient downstream workflows.
- Uphold a secure and tidy workspace by adhering to 5S protocols and promptly notifying leads of any equipment malfunctions.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.
- Physical capability to remain standing for long shifts and handle items weighing between 21 and 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with basic computer tasks to help maintain accurate digital inspection records.
- Strong observational skills to monitor machine performance and product quality consistently.
- Reliable attendance for the designated shift and the flexibility to work extra hours when necessary.
- Prior background in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Solid foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and decision-making.
- Experience contributing to collaborative, team-oriented industrial environments.
The hourly pay rate for this position is between $15.00 and $18.75.
