We are looking for an Assistant Director of Health Services to join our health services department full time.
LVN required.

Director of Health Services

• Responsible for the development, organization and operation of nursing and supportive services for Assisted Living.
• Coordinate and monitor nursing and supportive services for all residents, including procurement of outside sources to ensure residents  needs are met.
• Communicate and meet with outside consultants as necessary to assess and make recommendations for resident care needs.
• Coordinate and monitor documentation reflecting wellness care provided, individual s response to care and disposition of each case.
• Select, train, evaluate, and discipline all nursing related personnel.
• Develop and maintain assignments of duties for all nursing and supportive services to assure 24-hour coverage that meets regulatory requirements and community standards of care.
• Maintain clinical skills and stay knowledgeable of current standards of nursing practice through geriatrics-related education.
• Assist residents and families by offering support in dealing emotionally with the aging process.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of Texas (REQUIRED).
• Two years  experience in geriatric nursing; minimum of two years nursing administration experience required.
• Strong systems and process management.
• Experience with staffing.
• Computer proficiency; comfortable utilizing technology systems daily to manage resident care, medications and tracking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, and outside contacts.
