Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) – Mansfield, TX
Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Infusion Department at the Mansfield, TX location. This full‑time position is scheduled Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm with no weekends, on‑call, or major holidays.
Role OverviewUnder minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for oncology patients, adhering to national and company standards. The RN demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, developmental and age‑specific differences, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and supports the US Oncology Compliance Program.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
- Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
- Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique.
- Assure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to therapy administration where applicable.
- Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient, labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems, and symptom management.
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
- Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 0–3 years RN experience.
- Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior‑level candidates.
- Current RN state license in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical RequirementsThe role requires full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing within normal limits.
