Job Purpose- Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation with a multidisciplinary team.
- Support the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
- Collaborate and build relationships to foster a patient-centered, compassionate environment.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Additional certifications as required by department.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
- Ability to work with confidential material.
- Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and team members.
- Build collaborative relationships to promote a cooperative work environment.
- Assume accountability for performance and seek continuous improvement of patient experience.
- Take initiative for professional growth and development.
- Engage fully in teamwork and contribute to a winning culture.

- Provide therapeutic environment through safe, accurate medication and IV administration.

- Use the nursing process to ensure quality care throughout patient episodes.
