* ** Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm**   **(salary)*
* + Develops and oversees the implementation of the annual Risk Management Plan. Investigates sentinel events and reports to the appropriate regulatory body in conjunction with the department manager.

+ Facilitates Root Cause Analysis (RCA) team meetings and follows up on outcomes and recommendations.

+ Reviews medical records and collects data for risk management analysis, studies, and monitoring.

+ Assists with activities related to the Grievance Process, including attending committee meetings.

+ Provides education to employees regarding Risk Management Principles.

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* - Strong organization skills, including completing work by established deadlines. [Required]

- Ability to evaluate and correlate clinical information with appropriate criteria and is able to utilize available computer hardware and software. [Required]

- Skills to develop and engage in educational activities to facilitate learners' achievement of specific objectives. [Required]

* - Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

* Work Experience:

* - 1+ experience with teaching and/or leading evidence based project [Preferred]

- 3+ as acute care nurse [Preferred]

- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) [Preferred]
