Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery and Wellness

Work location:

Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063

Work hours:

Part time, Monday-Thursday, 8:00a - 1:00p

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required OR Nursing Diploma required
• BSN preferred
• BCLS prior to hire
• BCPMHN upon hire required
• ACPI within 30 days of hire
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
• Must practice within regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

• Assesses the patient
• Plans for the care of the patient
• Interventions as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
