Role Overview
A registered nurse provides professional, technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care adhering to unit standards
- Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Communicate effectively and foster a collaborative environment
- Promote a positive patient experience and seek continuous improvement
- Take accountability for performance and professional growth
- Build strong relationships within the team
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Relevant certifications as required by the department
- Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 6 months RN experience
