Wag N' Wash 3039 in Mansfield, TX is looking for a passionate and experienced Grooming Lead to join our fun, pet-loving team! In this role, you'll take the lead in delivering top-notch grooming services while helping to guide and inspire a team of fellow groomers. • Perform full-service grooming on dogs and of all breeds and sizes, including bathing, drying, trimming, and styling
• Lead, mentor, and support grooming staff to ensure quality and consistency of services
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon in compliance with health and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, coat conditions, and pet behavior
• Assist in scheduling grooming appointments and managing salon workflow for efficiency
• Monitor and report supply inventory, placing orders as needed to keep the salon fully stocked
• Handle pets with care and compassion, identifying any health or behavioral concerns and escalating as appropriate

• 2+ years of professional pet grooming experience required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a grooming or pet care setting preferred
• Proficiency in breed-specific cuts, hand-scissoring, and finishing techniques
• Strong animal handling skills with a calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
• Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment maintenance, and sanitation best practices
