My client provides water management solutions specializing in precise digital measurement, data delivery, and water preservation software.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Test Technician to support our Quality Assurance operations and participate in testing of returned field product. This role is responsible for failure analysis of product returned for testing, analyzing, and validating to MM. Product is to be evaluated for failure modes which will include electrical testing, water flow testing and communication validation with native software systems to validate customer concerns.

All records must ensure accurate, reliable and compliance-focused responses.

• Perform testing, analysis, and verification of returned and suspect product.
• Accurately document test results and maintain detailed records that are traceable for both MM historical reference and to NIST standards.
• Actively manage upgrades to testing equipment and software, additions of new equipment and process improvements with efficient/effective communication.
• Proactively assist quality team to validate and support product changes and assure compliance with AWWA and customer requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies and reporting. (5Y and 8D)
• Previous experience in mechanical and electrical testing within a quality assurance role preferred. Strong mechanical and mathematical skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  Minitab and/or database experience a plus.
• Experience writing technical reports for internal distribution, as well as procedures, work instruction and visual aids.
• Comfortable evaluating and analyzing data graphically and in standard database output.
• English reading proficiency required and the ability to understand technical documentation and follow written instructions.

• Strong work history with a proven track record of positive performance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills in English;
  Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Comfortable presenting or training small to medium-sized groups.
