Plant Quality Manager

We are seeking a Senior Plant Quality Engineering Manager to lead and develop the quality function within a manufacturing environment. This role will drive quality systems, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance initiatives while building a strong culture of quality excellence.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors
• Manage and improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) to meet customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements
• Drive AS9100D compliance, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues
• Apply quality tools including Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, Process Capability, and FMEA
• Monitor quality metrics, trends, supplier performance, and improvement opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 3–5+ years of quality/manufacturing engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years managing and developing teams
• Aerospace, medical, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong customer‑facing and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of AS9100D and quality standards (Lead Auditor experience preferred)
• Six Sigma certification (CQE, CSSBB, CQMgr preferred) is a plus
• Strong technical communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills

• ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Knowledge of quality improvement tools including SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, Process Capability, FMEA, and root cause analysis
• Experience managing supplier quality and corrective action processes
