Ameritech Facility Services is seeking experienced Traveling Commercial Repair Technicians to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial repair, maintenance, and renovation services for restaurant, retail, hospitality, and other commercial facilities throughout the United States.

Compensation- Helper Level: Earn up to $60,000 annually based on completed projects.
- Technician Level: Earn up to $80,000 annually based on completed projects.
As a Traveling Commercial Repair Technician, you'll travel to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of commercial building systems and finishes. No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be repairing a damaged storefront, and the next you could be replacing flooring, making plumbing repairs, or completing finish carpentry.
This position requires someone who is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while representing Ameritech Facility Services professionally.
Responsibilities- Perform general commercial building repairs and maintenance
- Troubleshoot construction-related issues and determine appropriate repair methods
- Complete finish carpentry and general repair work
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including supply and drain line connections
- Complete minor electrical work, including disconnecting and reconnecting equipment
- Repair roofing, concrete, asphalt, stucco, fencing, carpet, and tile
- Assemble and install equipment using installation instructions
- Safely operate common hand and power tools
- Maintain accurate communication with customers and project managers
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Complete projects within established schedules
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends when required by project timelines
- At least 5 years of commercial construction, building maintenance, or repair experience
- Restaurant or retail construction experience is preferred
- Strong carpentry skills with working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, flooring, and general building repairs
- Ability to diagnose problems and work independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% to 75% throughout the region
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Personal set of standard construction tools, including drills, saws, hammers, ladders, extension cords, shop vacuum, and caulking gun
- Smartphone capable of using company applications, taking and sending photos, and communicating electronically
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn additional trades and techniques
Ameritech Facility Services will provide or rent specialty equipment such as jackhammers, concrete saws, and other job-specific tools when needed.
