JOB DESCRIPTION

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer’s expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality/accuracy.
  • Strictly adheres to all posted procedures.
  • Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time; regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments. Contributes to ongoing success of the entire warehouse team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required” and helping the department as a whole.
  • Actively cross‑trains in other areas as required, outside of a primary job function.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safety expectations and following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
  • Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  • Other measurements of demeanor/teamwork include, but are not limited to, effectiveness in working with co‑workers, ability to work overtime, sense of urgency within the department, ability to work unsupervised, flexibility, and an overall quality‑focused demeanor toward work and Mouser.
  • Follows appropriate procedures for area.
  • Notifies management of any procedure violations.
  • Maintains a professional, neat and orderly work area, including product preservation.
  • Maintains ESD control for area, as applicable.
  • Attends team talks regularly.
  • Represents the company in a professional manner.
  • Provides customer service excellence.
  • Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process, including continuous improvements.
KEY JOB

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Pulls parts from bin box or shelving.
  • Verifies part numbers, quantity, hardware, date and lot codes.
  • Enters required information in handheld computer or iPad.
  • Repackages product, as requested.
  • Reports issues professionally.
  • Meets customer requirements.
  • Applies and scans barcodes.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Able to use a computer, and handheld computer or iPad (preferred).
  • Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
  • Able to read and understand instructions in English.
  • Strong quality and productivity orientation.
  • Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10–12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
  • May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR and at least 18 years of age.

Level 1 is considered entry level.
