Stock Control Associate - Material Handler-Overnight

Accountabilities & Essential Functions

• Ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer's expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality/accuracy.
• Strictly adheres to all posted procedures.
• Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines; must be at work on time. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
• Demonstrates a positive team-oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments. Contributes to the ongoing success of the warehouse team by accepting and embracing other duties as required and helping the department as a whole.
• Actively cross-trains in other areas as required, outside of a primary job function.
• Ensures a safe working environment by adhering to safety expectations and housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Maintains a professional, neat and orderly work area, including product preservation; maintains ESD control for the area, as applicable.

• Provides customer service excellence and supports the company s total quality process, including continuous improvements.

The following summarizes the key job accountabilities to be performed:

• Pulls parts from bin box or shelving
• Assists drivers with loading and unloading products
• Sorts product, pallets, and boxes and moves to various areas within the warehouse
• Cleans and preps work areas by removing empty boxes from work stations
• Picks up oversized and/or fragile parts (not able to travel by the conveyor system) and manually delivers to the consolidation department
• Removes trash

• Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
• Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
• Able to read and understand instructions in English.
• Strong quality and productivity orientation.
• Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10-12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2 ft (using stairs and ladders).
• May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
• Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
