Forklift Engineer

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

We are working with a well-established, family-run material handling business that is looking for an experienced Workshop Forklift Engineer to join their team in Mansfield.

This is a hands-on workshop role working on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

• Service and repair forklift trucks
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Work on electric, diesel and LPG equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections
• Fault-find and complete repairs
• Complete service paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop
• Work to company health & safety procedures

• Previous forklift or material handling experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Good hydraulic and diagnostic skills
• Experience with electric, diesel or LPG equipment
• A reliable and professional approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team Heavy Plant, Agricultural, Powered Access, HGV or Automotive Engineers with transferable skills will also be considered.

• £38,000-£40,000 basic salary
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Standby available after probation
• Double-time overtime when called out on standby
• £200 monthly additional payment after probation, subject to performance
