Vehicle Technician
£30,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent | Nottinghamshire
Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, reputable independent garage in Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional team where quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are a top priority.
Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their work and is looking to build a long-term career within a busy workshop environment.
Hours- Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- 1-2 Saturdays per month, depending on business requirements and busy periods.
- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and skill set.
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and carrying out effective repairs.
- Completing mechanical, electrical and routine maintenance work to a high standard.
- Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying any additional repair requirements.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and workshop standards.
- Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation.
- Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient turnaround times.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a garage or workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Good mechanical knowledge across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Permanent, full-time position.
