Titan Workforce is a construction based company and services all of Northern California. We primarily work in the Sacramento, Central Valley and Bay Areas, partnering with large scale residential builders in a number of different capacities.
We are currently looking for an experienced Asst Construction Manager or Construction Manager in the residential homebuilding industry, to work on behalf of builders and interface with trade partners and homeowners.
Job Description
Summary:
As an Asst Superintendent you will be assigned a community and are responsible for helping manage the home building process for timely completion of the build while meeting quality, safety, and customer satisfaction goals.
The Asst Superintendent's responsibilities span a broad spectrum to include project planning/scheduling, resource allocation and subcontractor relations, cost management, safety and compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Manage the overall homebuilding process
- Work well with others within a team environment
- Build and maintain positive subcontractor relations
- Continuously evaluate quality, safety, scheduling and cost control measures and enforce site safety
- Manage the construction schedule and ensure that the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule, authorize payment for materials received and work completed
- Provide clear answers to buyers about how the home is built, ensuring the overall condition of the home at move‑in is satisfactory to the home buyers
- Provide outstanding level of customer service at all times
- Ensure that the home is completed by the original date provided to the homebuyer
- Ensure that the worksite is clean, orderly and visually appealing to customers during construction
- Perform other duties as assigned
High School
Experience36 months
- 3+ years of construction experience (preferably with a production home builder)
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Required mobility around the job site either by walking or use of an automobile
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- Demonstrated knowledge of new home construction process, scheduling and cost control procedures
- Ability to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules, with knowledge of all phases of new homes construction
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills
- Customer service oriented with the customer as a priority
- Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
