Expanded Learning Program Supervisor - District Office, Expanded Learning Department

Job Title

Under the direction of the Director of Expanding Learning, provides leadership and assumes supervisory responsibility for coordination in the development and implementation of expanded learning opportunities programs for students and staff at TK-12 sites. Provides supervision and related duties in the areas in which they are assigned for expanded learning related work. Provides related professional development and/or training for staff. Serves as immediate supervisor for designated employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent AND Forty-eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
Completion of coursework pertaining to education, recreation administration and/or management of programs.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years working in a school setting or student enrichment program; or an equivalent combination of experience and additional training. DESIRABLE

EXPERIENCE:

Supervisory experience. IF HIRED - PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost):

- Fingerprinting PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Maintain valid California driver's license of the proper class to operate vehicles or combinations of vehicles to satisfy job requirements.

- Maintain District-insurable driving record.
