Parkwest Casino is bringing a fresh face to the casino industry. To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a security guard. Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.
Requirements- Valid BSIS guard card
- Ability to operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively
- Ability to write an accurate detailed report
- Ability to count chips with minimal mistakes
- High customer service proficiency and hospitality mindset
- Availability to work any shift, including weekends, nights, holidays
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Must possess a valid California Guard Card
- Must obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check
- Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6+ hours a day
- Ability to perform repetitive hand use, simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, and reaching throughout an entire shift
- Ability to tolerate exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, extremes of temperature, humidity, or wetness
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodations
