Staff Nurse II

The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients, providing care through the nursing process and collaborating with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to make a significant impact in patient care.

• Pay: $112 - $133/hour
• Location: Manteca, CA
• Facility: Manteca Medical Center
• Schedule: On-Call, Night shift

• Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
• Formulate goal-directed plans of care.
• Implement care consistently and thoroughly.
• Establish priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
• Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
• Provide and coordinate care for patients/patient populations.
• Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care given by team members.
• Participate in nursing research activities as requested.
• Document patient care and unit activities accurately and timely.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program

Experience:

• One year recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
